Recipe Exchange

I was sent an e-mail one of these last winter and it turned out pretty neat. What you would do is share your favorite (or an easy quick recipe) as a post on your blog and then comment to my post with a link to your page.

I hope that each one of you can participate, it will give us all some great recipes to try that we may of not tried before :)

Here's mine:

Chili (a Wendy's Chili look-a-like) (a crock pot meal)
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
4 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (14 ounce) can ranch style beans
1 (14 ounce) can pinto beans
1 (14 ounce) can kidney beans
1 (10 ounce) can Rotel diced tomatoes
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package McCormick mild chili seasoning
2 lbs ground chuck

Brown Ground Chuck
Add all canned items, including juice, into large pot (I did drain the juice off the beans and rinse the beans when I made mine so that it was less salty, but I did add the tomato juice)
Cook until onion and pepper are tender (I let mine cook in the crock pot for 4 hours at minimum, as my dad says, soup is always better the more you cook it! -- but that is debatable :)
Serve
Freezes nicely! (It really does :)

For a little kick use the canned Rotel tomatoes with green chili peppers in it :)

Serves 12

Here's the link to the initial recipe because it has a nice calculator and you can input how many servings you want to make :)
